Was founded to change the way we consume products by resurrecting the barter system and adding a technological twist to it. In today's generation, we have the ability to be "connected" with anyone, anywhere, anytime thanks to our smartphones and devices. So we thought why not bring back the old school philosophy of swap through our digital lifestyle.
In how it works: You see something you want and you offer something that you'd like to exchange for it. Once both of you accept, mySwapp lists the nearest locations, you pick one, pick a date and voila, your meeting to swap these items is set up. mySwapp ensures anonymity by not providing any numbers, emails, or names. Once you're at the location, you press "I'm here" and mySwapp uses special technology to call both of you from a mySwapp number. You perform the swap and go home with your new item.
mySwapp's goal is for people to stop wasting and start swapping. We all have it in us and we grew up doing it without realizing it. Remember when you swapped your sandwich at lunch in school for your friends? Or when you swapped your jolly rancher for double bubble? mySwapp is here to help you bring you back to your childhood ways. So start swapping my friends and remember "Don't waste it, just swap it!"

Vivek has been working for a financial firm driving technology products for over 15 years and woke up one day and said to himself he want do something awesome! So he came up with the idea of the swap app with his amazing team. He grew up in a small town called Nutley (home of the best pizza in the state!) in Jersey. Vivek still lives in NJ with his awesome wife and two amazing but crazy kids.
He realized the need for myswapp when he realized how much money, time, and plastic his family was wasting with all the toys the kids buy and never use again. He figured wouldn't it be great if we can swap it with someone else! Also came in handy with the tons of books his wife reads only once and sits on the bookshelf.

Shreyas is a current undergraduate student at Rutgers University studying Electrical and Computer Engineering. He went to Monroe Township High School before that. He began to learn how to develop mobile apps during the summer before he started college and was able to utilize his knowledge with the help of Rutgers Mobile Application Development club (RUMAD). As chief engineer, he is in charge of constructing the MySwapp app and overseeing the technical development of the product.
His hobbies include watching/playing soccer (his favorite team is AC Milan), playing the drums, eating, and hanging out with his family,friends, and girlfriend. He lists his role models as Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, and Sergey Brin.

Aziz is an all around graphic designer experienced in UI/UX design,front-end web development, and crafting logos/icons. He studied Information Technology and Informatics along with Computer Science at Rutgers University. While at the university, he was involved in RuMAD's e-board as the lead designer and collaborated in all sorts of projects with the community. As the Chief Designer, Aziz crafted the overall design and branding for the MySwapp product.
He is a hacker enthusiast, blogger, and makes music with his friends.
